Clock Movement Measurements: Total hand shaft length is 20.6 mm (13/16 inch). Total shaft diameter is 7.9 mm (5/16 inch).

Maximum Clock Dial Thickness: 7.9 mm (5/16 inch). Refers to the thickness of the combined material (clock face material and support board the dial is mounted to) that the threaded length of the movement shaft travels through. The hardware adds 1.6 mm (1/16 inch) making the total length of the threaded bushing 9.5 mm (3/8 inch). For finding a replacement, measure the threaded portion of the shaft on your old clock movement. If the length is shorter or equal to 9.5 mm (3/8 inch), this is suitable.

Clock Hands Measurements: Total black spade hour and minute hand length is approx. 63.5 mm (2 1/2 inch), total red second hand length is approx. 69.9 mm (2 3/4 inch). The Q-80 movement will have a step motion that creates a ticking sound, powered by an AA battery.

Klockit's Q-80 Quartex brand quartz clock movement is made with an I shaft. The I shaft is the USA standard for high-quality clock movements. Inside the movement, you'll find a gear train that is encapsulated within another clear plastic case. This design keeps foreign matter out of the gears, resulting in years of trouble-free operation! An excellent product for woodworking clock kits or quartz clock mechanism replacement needs! Accurate to within +/- 0.8 seconds per day. The built-in hanger holds up to 4 lbs. It comes with a pair of black spade 63.5 mm (2 1/2 inch) hour and minute hands, a red 69.9 mm (2 3/4 inch) second hand and mounting hardware. The mounting hardware includes a rubber gasket, brass washer, brass hex nut, thru nut, and cap nut. The movement size is approx. 56.4 x 56.4 x 15.9 mm (2.2 x 2.2 x 0.6 inch). Please note that the clock hands and the motor kit are battery operated. This battery clock mechanism requires one AA battery which is not included in the clock mechanism kit. This quartz clock movement comes with a one-year limited warranty.
