1. This USB console cable is a usb to mini usb cable that works great with newer devices, which offer a USB port as a second option for cisco USB console access. 2. This cable offers the USB B Type mini connector at one end that matches the interface on the router or switch. The opposite end features a standard USB Type A connector found on most computers. 3. Some of the routers known to accept this type of USB interface include (but are not limited to) the 1900, 2900 and 3900 series routers, in addition to the 2960, 3750, and 3750-X Catalyst series switches.
