This Book was first written in 2012 for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has been updated 17 times and brings us up to Android 8.0 (Oreo). It is now the 1st edition of the 2019 book. Amazon will longer send out updates for New Content Added: Chapter(s) or page(s) added, deleted or revised; new images added; bonus chapter added. The original book can still be bought but only covers up to MarshMallow (Android ver 6.0) and has been in the the top 100 almost continueously since its first release.
