The Ashford Traditional Single Drive spinning wheel is the most popular spinning wheel in the world. The bobbins are quick and easy to change. The single drive (Scotch tension) 4 speed flyer allow for a wide variety of yarn to be spun. Easy Maiden bar adjustment allows perfect alignment of the 4 speed whorl. The Ball bearings and large 22 inch drive wheel makes treadling smooth and effortless. The wide legs give good stability especially when speed spinning. The treadle is pivoted to allow for comfortable heel-toe action. The single drive model uses the scotch tension brake adjustment. This model is unfinished. Applying a finishing is not required.
