About Educator SK-1816G Wire Nuts For E-Fence Underground

The Educator E-Fence system keeps your dog in your yard without changing the appearance of the home, and without the cost and hassle of a traditional fence. Set up the E-Fence in any pattern you choose, and only you and your dog will know about it. Keep your dog away from flower beds, a swimming pool, or a vegetable garden. All that’s needed is a thin border wire buried a couple inches below ground, or the boundary wire can be tacked to the bottom of a wood fence or weaved through the bottom of a chain-link fence. E-fence works by electronically connecting the buried wire and the electronic collar via a radio signal. As the dog walks near the boundary, the collar gives off a caution sound or vibration. This sound/vibration alerts the dog that it's getting too close to the boundary. If the dog keeps moving toward the boundary, the dog will receive a mild correction. The sensation momentarily surprises the dog and gets its attention allowing it to learn new boundaries. 30 levels of adjustable stimulation allow you to set the right learning level for your dog. Through training and as time goes on, the sound/vibration warning feature by itself will prevent the dog from getting too close to the perimeter of the yard. Soon your dog will learn its boundaries and will no longer need to receive any correction. E-Fence employs quick charge lithium polymer batteries and is waterproof and shock resistant. It generally takes about two weeks to train a dog to use the E-Fence. After the dog is trained, it can walk and run around in the yard anywhere it wants, and the pet owner will feel confident that the dog is safe, happy, and secure. E-Fence supports multiple dogs if each dog has its own collar. Some pet owners may worry about the correction but be assured that these are only “static” corrections and are very mild and will not hurt the dog. The corrections are like when you slide your feet on the carpet and then touch something. The correction is irritating, but not hurtful.
