Equipped with a synthetic Napa head, this 10-inch ABS plastic Pandeiro from MEINL Percussion delivers ultra-low bass notes with superb warmth and feel. Six pairs of chrome plated steel jingles add light, sensitive accents that respond well at any volume and speed. The specially designed tunable and replaceable Napa head from MEINL is ideal for players looking for a Pandeiro sound with reduced overtones and a fat attack with plenty of bass and a mellow, vintage quality. The unique surface of the head makes it easy for players to execute pitch bending techniques and finger rolls. ABS plastic is used in the frame construction for its durability and light weight, while allowing the head to resonate to its fullest. With applications in nearly every playing style, the ABS Pandeiro from MEINL may be used with hands, sticks, and even makes for a great auxiliary bass drum when mounted with a pedal. Included is a key for tuning adjustments.
