Product Description Designed for use on aluminum, copper, weatherproof coated wire, PVC covered conductors and messenger and guy strand. Identical to Bell-System type "L"strand puller. Equipped with chain, toggle and shackle. For support wire 0.134-Inch and larger, refer to 1659 series. Outside diameter of support wire includes thickness of polyethylene coating. Double V jaw contour safely holds 0.218 - 0.550-Inch cable diameter range. Chain, toggle and shackle tightly attaches the grip to the cable. Maximum Safe Load is 8000-Pound (3629 kg). For support wire 0.134 and larger, refer to 1659 series.
