This Meter is designed to meet IEC 61010-1 & CAT II 600V over voltage category and double insulation. The meter with holster that is giving the main body, though downsized, high resistance against the shock of a drop.Tips: 1. The automatic range digital multimeter has a large internal resistance (high input impedance), and there is induced voltage interference when open circuit. The AC DC gear will have a digital jump when it is turned on, but it will not affect the measurement. 2. When turning on the meter and move the dial to ohms, it reads of OL (default), it's normal. In this case, it means that Infinity of resistance. When you apply the multimeter to test resistance of something, it start to read the real resistance. Please don't worry. There is no need to reset it.
