A pop up outlet box is hidden in your countertop or floor when closed, all you see is a stylish stainless steel top. When you push the button the top tilts open revealing the GFCI outlet. It can be installed in floor, countertop, deck, table, desk tops in kitchen, living room, office, public area, etc. Waterproof gasket features IP44 water rating. Prior to installation, a professional cutter should cut a square hole in the desired location of the receptacle. Junction Box Dimensions: 3 7/8*3 7/8*2 1/8 inches Receptacle and Cover Dimensions: 4 11/16*4 11/16*2 1/4 inches (when closed) Any excess wires should be pulled out of the box or made flat on the bottom of the box, to avoid interfering with the opening mechanism. An additional plastic plate is provided to prevent the entry of dirt when installing the junction box. It can be removed when installing the outlet.
