About ENERLITES Elite Series Duplex
The ENERLITES 61580-TR Elite Series duplex receptacle is a high-quality tamper-resistant outlet designed for residential use. This 15 amp features a tamper-resistant design and it replaces any 1-gang in-wall receptacle for an instant upgrade. The tamper-resistant design has become an essential part of most building electrical code, and it offers the comfort of knowing that your loved ones are protected. The internal shutters prevent unwanted objects from being inserted but still allow for easy insertion of the appropriate plugs. This safety feature is indicated by a “TR” marking on the face of the wall outlet. This duplex receptacle is made from ultra-durable Polycarbonate Thermoplastic material for high resistance to heat and impacts. The material offers resistance up to 140℃ to ensure the device does not melt or fade. This makes it ideal for a wide variety of residential and commercial applications.
