Description Binding/binder posts, also called barrel nuts, are internally threaded and accept a machine screw of the same thread size. They are used instead of a bolt and nut in many cases because the head of the binding post sits flush against the surface and does not protrude like the end of a bolt would. For certain applications, they can also be used instead of a rivet. The mating screw is included.
