Ideal for dilute (ng/mL to µ g/mL range) protein solutions. Low-binding ultraclean-YM regenerated cellulose membrane available with different molecular weight cut-offs. Used in standard 1.5 mL tube fixed-angle rotors. Applications include concentrating and purifying proteins, antibodies and nucleic acids (alternative to EtOH precipitation), desalting and buffer exchange, and removal of primers, linkers and unincorporated label. Maximum initial sample volume is 500 µ l, and typical final concentrate volume is 5 to 15 µ l. Maximum centrifugal force is 14, 000g, 500g for 29950-54 on DNA/RNA applications.
