About 11 Cm Lab Filter Paper, Standard Qualitative Grade
GRADE 2 STANDARD Qualitative Filter Paper Equivalent to Whatman grade 2, this laboratory filter paper is widely used for standard fine filtration when you need to separate a solid or precipitate from the filtrate. Made from high alpha-cellulose cotton, this standard lab filter is not intended for ashing. APPLICATIONS science : General filtration in the 8 ?m range, clarification of cloudy suspension in labs food : Determination of total fat content in foodstuff and dairy, unsaponifiable fraction in fats and oils (fluted) beverage : Beer and malt analysis, removal of turbidity from wort and removal of yeast after fermentation (fluted) agriculture : Prefiltration of soil, hold nutrient in plant growth trials environment : Air polution monitoring of specific atmospheric contaminants and black smoke HIGH RETENTION Retains fine crystalline and organic precipitates around 8μm like: Metal Sulfides (Cd, Ni, Zn, Fe, Pb, Mn, Ag, As) Ba Sulfate, Pb Chromate, Mg oxide Ca Oxalate (cold), Ca Fluoride, Pb Dioxide paper : pure cotton cellulose flow : slow retention : 5~10 μm (fine) speed : 40~45 s (10ml DIN 53137) size : ⌀ 110 mm thickness : 160 μm weight : 86 g/m² ash : 0.1% qty : 100 discs PLAIN-DISCS These Flat Discs are suitable for gravity and Buchner low suction vacuum filtration.
