About Kanewell Twin Adjustable Saddle Stool With

The Twin Adjustable Saddle Stool from Kanewell offers a comfortable split-saddle seat with the added benefit of width and angle adjustment for a personalized fit. Recommended for active office tasks, at raised counters or elevated workstations, or anywhere the user needs to be able to move into close proximity to the working area -- such as dental, medical, veterinary, laboratory, and industrial environments. NOTE: Saddle stool heights are much higher than conventional chairs. Ideal spinal postures are achieved at a height in-between sitting and standing with a 135-degree angle between thigh and torso and the feet on the floor. In a conventional office setting, the desk must be raised. IMPORTANT: The backrest is not in contact with the body when the user is active. When saddle sitting in an ideal posture the torso is forward of the hip joints. A backrest only functions when the torso is behind the hip joints. Therefore, the backrest only serves as an occasional rest from active work. In addition, the backrest can get in the way of full arm and body mobility. Most saddle sitters prefer a saddle seat without a backrest. The backrest can be removed from this model, or you might consider the Kanewell 901SNL Twin Adjustable Saddle Stool without a backrest.
