About Rhipsalis Sp. Ex Craig Allen
Rhipsalis sp. ex Craig Allen is a very rare plant and difficult to find anywhere else. It has smooth, tubular shaped stems that branch out and hang over the side of the pot. The stems themselves are very thin but the shear number of them is what makes the plant full and thick. This plant has grown about 2" long in a hanging basket here at the Josh's Frogs Greenhouse and it prefers bright, indirect light and a well drained soil. We keep all of our Rhipsalis in Josh's Frogs Rhipsalis Soil. Keep the soil moist but don’t allow the roots to sit in water or the plant will rot. It does appreciate humidity, but will do well in normal household temperatures and conditions. It can be used in a very large vivarium/terrarium if care requirements are met. If you're a Rhipsalis collector or just someone who enjoys the look of these unique plants, you'll be happy with this very rare find.
