Looking for a self pollinating, low chill Apple tree that will withstand a hot & humid climate? If so, the Anna Apple is the choice for you! The Anna Apple tree is an Israeli selection, & its fruits are lusciously large & have light greenish-yellow skin with a slight red blush. The fruit is sweet, slightly tart & crisp with a creamy light flesh. This variety is particularly noted for heavy crops. The tree will produce at an early Age, & its fruit is great for eating fresh & baking & will storeup to 2 months in the refrigerator. Anna Apple trees thrive in areas not previously known for growing apples as it needs only 200-300 chill hours to produce delicious apples that ripen in late June. Anna trees produce at an early Age & are self-fertile but a pollinizer such as Dorset golden will increase production, meaning more fruit for you!
