Here is your chance to grow pumpkins with “top of the line” Wallace genetics. These are highly sought genetics and not standard "field grown seeds". You MUST follow the directions on the packet for germination, those who have experienced poor germination was because they started outside too early. Soil temps must be close to 70 degrees Fahrenheit for germination. Wallace Whoppers are fun to grow and you will be astounded at its amazing rate of growth. Planting Instructions Direct sow or start indoors 2 weeks prior to planting. Choose a sunny location and plant 2 weeks after all danger of frost has passed. Sow 4 seeds per hill with pointed end facing down 6” apart, placed 1” deep. Keep moist but not wet. Outdoor soil temperature must be a minimum of 70 degrees Fahrenheit or higher for germination of seeds. Seedlings will sprout in 10-14 days. For best results allow only 1 pumpkin per vine. 120 days till maturity
