About Forgecraft USA Hand Scythe- Professional Sickle
The professional Scythe is made of high carbon and Manganese steel,hot-roll forged blade with long steel shank forged in one piece, Not welded. Heat treated for maximum strength. Sharpened blade for efficient weeding and harvesting. The sickle shank is assembled through inside the entire handle with so called Rat-tail type. The Scythe blade is approximately 11-1/2" long and 2-1/8" wide. The overall length of the Scythe is approximately 14-1/2". The wood handle is 5-1/2" long with chrome ferrule. It is very handy and classic scything tool for tough weeding and agricultural harvesting.
