Pepper Description: For the last few years, we have been trying to track down real Calabrian peppers. It's not been easy, and the reason why....there's a lot of peppers grown in Calabria! Mazzetti is a short, thick pepper with a beautiful upward growth habit. The peppers grow in clusters and are quite gorgeous glowing red when ripe. These average at about 20,000 Scoville units and have a great flavor. These peppers grew out beautifully, evenly and we are excited to now offer them to you.
