Product Description This is a 3-1/2 inch diameter door cover plate. It will cover marred doors and allows a conversion from 2-3/8 inch to 2-3/4 inch backset, or 2-3/4 inch to 2-3/8 inch backset. The steel construction and chrome finish plate is easily installed behind your handleset. From the Manufacturer This backplate is constructed from steel and comes finished in nickel. It is used to cover marred doors. It allows you to convert a 2-3/8 in. backset to a 2-3/4 in. backset or vice versa.
