The MFM SubSeal 40 Waterproofing Siding House Wrap is a 40-millimeter building wrap composed of a polymer film with a layer of specially formulated, rubberized asphalt adhesive suitable for use on siding and exterior plaster. This waterproof house wrap combines strength and flexibility to create a SubSeal foundation water barrier for walls, exterior walls, through-wall flashings, around doors and windows, underneath stucco, plaster, and masonry, planters, pot shelves, and as a flashing material. MFM Sub Seal 40 has a broad temperature range, allowing installation in cold weather, and can adhere to most clean, dry surfaces, including metal, wood vinyl, masonry, ICF foundations, Gold Bond, and rigid insulation boards. It is easy to cut Sub Seal to shape using scissors or a sharp knife if an alteration in the size of the membrane is needed. For the best adhesion, SubSeal House wrap can be applied by rolling the entire surface with a hand roller while focusing attention, particularly on seams. This particular membrane must be covered within 90 days of application. MFM backs SubSeal 40 with a 10-year limited warranty.
