About CauliBuds Cauliflower Ear Prevention Kit
When the cartilage of the ear is injured, it is separated from the tissue underneath, and pools with fluid. The collection of fluid is called a hematoma. When the hematoma heals, it forms a clot, and eventually the fluid is replaced with calcium and scar tissue, creating what is known as cauliflower ear. CauliBuds apply compression to the ear to prevent the fluid from filling that cavity, either after draining or before swelling has occurred.
