This book outlines a multi-disciplinary, functional approach to overcoming some of the most common symptoms of TMJ Dysfunction. Using simple exercises organized into a 12-week program, you can learn the basics about proper jaw function, and discover how to help your jaw function again to its highest potential. This conservative approach was developed by Dr. Jeff Dolgos in conjunction with the use of a stabilization orthotic to help reduce trauma and pressure on the joint structures, but the book can be used without an orthotic device. Consultation with a dentist or TMJ Specialist is recommended prior to starting this program, so that a proper diagnosis can be made, and other conditions can be ruled out.
