About Menopause Reset!: Reverse Weight Gain, Speed Fat

Product Description Menopause Reset! is the revolutionary, scientifically-proven program that helps women control the physiological effects of perimenopause and menopause with mind, diet, and exercise solutions that keep blood sugar levels stable and bodies in the fat-burning zone all day long. In the past, controversial hormonal replacement therapy was the only method by which women could positively affect menopausal symptoms. But  Menopause Reset! changes all of that. The program specifically regulates blood glucose with food, exercise, and highly effective stress reduction techniques, allowing women to stop and reverse menopausal weight and fat gain. Based on the successful treatment of tens of thousands of women whose life-changing results are included in the book, Dr. Harpaz has put together an easy, 3-step solution that targets the triggers of menopause and its symptoms. Menopause Reset! teaches women all about their metabolic mechanisms: what they are, how they work, and, most importantly, how to manipulate them to achieve sustainable weight loss and get their bodies back! About the Author MICKEY HARPAZ , PhD, earned his advanced degrees in applied physiology and nutrition at Adelphi (MS), Columbia (EdDC) and Belford (PhD) Universities. Came to Be When I was studying for my doctorates in applied physiology and nutrition from Columbia and Belford universities, I became very interested in how certain factors affect human weight gain and loss. I studied nearly every diet that had been popular over the previous 30 years, and I was curious about why some diets worked for some people, but not as well for others. And about why the same diet may produce better results in a woman than in a man, and vice versa. As I began collecting data from my dietary research, I became interested in the weight gain and weight loss problems of menopause-age women that I was hearing about and observing firsthand. I wanted to know why the diets that worked for younger women were not working with equal success (or at all) for menopausal women. And, I noticed, there weren't any effective diet books (based on peer- reviewed science) that specifically focused on the menopausal woman. LET THE EXPERIMENTATION BEGIN In the late 1980s, I began shifting my practice and its focus to helping women--specifically, menopausal women--diminish the severity of the unwanted side effects of menopause. The goal was to help them achieve sustainable weight and fat loss and improve their overall health. In other words, to give them their bodies back. The first area I focused on was diet. I experimented with every kind of popular diet that was available, and the results were less than spectacular. So I created my own. And for my menopausal patients, the results were (and continue to be) stunning. Then I took on exercise. I looked at the decades-old traditional methods of training (and hundreds of workouts that ranged from using weights to running to doing cardio and other modalities) and began applying them in numerous variations in the lives of my menopausal patients. Years of observation and empirical research helped me create and fine-tune the ideal exercise regimen that the menopausal woman's body needs and will respond best to. And finally, there was the mental aspect. One of the big mistakes I felt so many diet and exercise books made was either neglecting or totally disregarding the importance of the brain and how it affects how we think and feel. We are a brain with a body and not the other way around. And the unchangeable truth is, where the mind goes, the body follows. And I discovered something even more astounding: The mind greatly affects menopausal weig
