About Governor Howard Dean - Ephemera Signed

HOWARD DEAN Longtime Vermont Governor signs a promotional sticker for his 2004 Presidential Campaign Sticker signed: "Howard Dean" in black felt tip. 7¾x3¾ sticker: "Howard Dean for America". American Democrat Howard Dean (b.1948), longtime Governor of Vermont (1991-2003), is best remembered for his unsuccessful 2004 Presidential campaign which came to an embarrassing end at a post-caucus rally in Iowa. In an attempt to encourage the crowd, Dean ranted about taking over each state in the nation, finishing with a shrieking "Yeah!" The speech was both perplexing and comical, and his climactic squeal sent the rant viral. The media gaffe, now known as the "Dean Scream" was spoofed all over the media, even by comedian Dave Chappelle. Following the end of the election year, Dean was made Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, a position he held from 2005-2009. Slightly creased. Image pixilated. Fine condition. - Please contact us if you have any questions or require additional information. HFSID 324102
