About The Aryan Invasion Theory - A Subterfuge: A

There has been non recognition of antiquity of India in west due to bias and Eurocentric attitude. Findings of Harappa and other archaeological evidence has been totally ignored. It was being said that India had no significant past. The village of Balathal [Udaipur], Rajasthan illustrates ancient times of India’s history. Archaeological excavations in last 50 years have dramatically changed the understanding of India’s past. It is now understood that significant human activity existed in India over 10000 years back. Many historical assumptions need to be reviewed and revisited. Indus civilization was primarily a bronze civilization, centered on basin of river Indus and now dried up river Sarasvati. Aryan Invasion theorists say that fall occurred as Aryan’s with superior military equipment defeated them in battle. There are others who believe climatic catastrophe like floods caused their downfall. Differing versions of this civilization are also there. The Aryan invasion in 1500BC was invented. This was indeed a masterly stroke that showed on the one hand that Indian civilization was not that ancient and that it was subsequent to the cultures which influenced the western world - Mesopotamia, Samaria, or Babylon - and on the other hand, that whatever good things India had developed - Sanskrit, literature, or even its architecture, had been influenced by the West. The book describes the events based on archaeological and scientific discoveries that nullify the Aryan invasion theory.
