Estes 7295 Orange Bullet Rocket-Building Features

  • INTERMEDIATE MODEL-ROCKET-BUILDING KIT: The 7295 Orange Bullet Rocket-Building Kit offers kids ages 10+ the chance to build and fly the first rocket model prototype that founder Vern Estes ever created! This kit includes the rocket parts needed for construction. It requires rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, a launch pad system, and 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries for launch use (sold separately).

  • SOARS UP TO 500 FT.: Our 7295 Orange Bullet rocket model is a high-performance rocket in a small package that uses tumble recovery to get safely back to Earth. It features a 4.5-inch height and reaches an altitude of 500 ft. (152 m) on an A8-3 Estes rocket engine (sold separately). It is also compatible with 1/2A6-2 rocket engines.

  • READY TO ASSEMBLE: Rocket building inspires creativity and a passion for science and outer space! Our intermediate rocket kit is a piece of Estes history that comes ready to build with approximately 1 hour of assembly time. Pair it with a Porta Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller (sold separately) for a successful rocket blastoff.

  • SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS: Our rockets are designed to be used with the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code. Always ensure you have an appropriate launch site, stand back at least 15 ft., insert the safety key, issue a countdown, and then you can let your rocket fly!

  • WE IGNITE IMAGINATIONS: Since 1958, Estes has created educational rocket kits designed for an unforgettable launch experience. As a family-owned company, we have grown to offer exciting STEM products that engage aspiring rocketeers and the future minds of aerospace.

About Estes 7295 Orange Bullet Rocket-Building

The Estes 7295 Orange Bullet model-rocket-building kit encourages intermediate-level model-rocket enthusiasts to fly with big dreams. Designed for adults and kids ages 10+ (supervision recommended for ages under 12), this rocket-building kit is modeled after Estes’s first rocket in the Designer Signature Series and the first complete kit ever designed by Vern Estes. The original design was meant to shift the center of gravity (CG) back after the engine popped out at apogee, causing the rocket to tumble gently instead of streamlining nose first. The modern version can reach launch heights up to 500 ft. when powered by Estes mini engines (sold separately). This easy-to-assemble rocket-building kit can inspire a solo STEM enthusiast or provide a demonstration for a small group of rocketeers. It includes the reusable parts for launch, including a nose cone, a body tube, and design components. Perfect for families, friends, hobbyists, or aspiring rocketeers, the 7295 Orange Bullet model-rocket-building kit offers hands-on experience in engineering and aerospace. After assembly time of approximately 1 hour, this rocket model will be ready for proud display or launch prep. To build and launch this rocket, you will need an Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad, an Electron Beam Launch Controller, compatible Estes model-rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, and 4 AA batteries (sold separately). Always follow the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code during operation. Estes rocket kits are built from the highest-quality components and designed around the unforgettable experience of pressing “launch.” Our hobby and STEM educational products range across all skill levels, interests, and power levels. Unleash the space dreamer and science enthusiast in you with an Estes model rocket!
