This 50’ standard box car with plug door and no roofwalk is painted with red, white and blue stripes down the length of the sides with square black, white and red logo, and white Magcobar herald. Lettering is black with the exception of the red door lettering. It was built in June 1964 and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Magcobar, a division of Dresser Industries, is an oil field services company which provides a substantial amount of drilling fluids to the oil industry. Much of this arrives in the form of dry drilling “mud” which is shipped in sacks in Magcobar’s fleet of leased insulated box cars.
