The computer-modeled (2) 6.5" Aerofoil Profile bass cones of the speaker aided by Bowers & Wilkins' Flowport technology provide rigidity, and the bass reflex enclosure features a rear-firing, dimpled, and flared port for natural bass response. The 1" Decoupled Carbon Dome Tweeter delivers precise vocals and instruments and smooths transitions. Additionally, the floor speaker is equipped with Decoupled 6" Continuum Cone FST midrange that benefits from tech developed for the high-end 800 Series. Pair this powered speaker with the 705 S2 or 706 S2 bookshelf speakers, the HTM71 S2 center channel speaker, and the DB4S subwoofer (sold separately), which are voice matched to deliver exceptional surround sound.
