About IFi XDSD Gryphon - Ultra-Res Portable Balanced DAC
Following on as an adaptation of our original xDSD, the xDSD Gryphon is our new state of the art Ultra-resolution portable DAC and high-power headphone amplifier, complete with both wireless and wired audio support. Building on our original xDSD with MQA decoding, Bluetooth 5.1 for LDAC / HWA, USB Input and balanced 4.4mm input & output. Full MQA decoding is provided by Native DSD (up to DSD512) and full MQA decoding up to 384kHZ ON POWERFUL 16 - core XMOS processor. With 3 separate dedicated stages - Bluetooth, DAC and amplifier, which are all individually optimised for maximum performance - the xDSD Gryphon provides excellent audio quality both at home and on the go. The xDSD supports high resolution PCM 768, DSD 512 or the latest MQA decoding, whilst the battery provides an average of six to eight, but up to 10 hours of playing time. The Military grade aluminum chassis and SilentLine OLED display mean that the Gryphon looks as good as it sounds.
