Please use certified 18Gbps HDMI cable under 15ft to performance. This is extremely important, particular for Dolby Vision application. Would not recommend this item for DVI display application unless the HDMI source allows user to select RGB color to avoid potential HDMI native YCbCr vs RGB color conflict issues. This is the newest HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.2 4K@60Hz 18Gbps YCbCr 4:4:4 / RGB 4:4:4 HDR Dolby Vision generation of HDMI audio extractor with SPDIF Toslink optical digital audio output and 3.5mm analog headphone stereo audio output. It is backward compatible with all the earlier generations of HDMI devices. Please make sure the AV receiver can support DD+, if not, make sure to manually disable DD+ output from the HDMI source. If you ever encounter a no audio problem with DD+ application using the Toslink port, please first set the HDMI source output to stereo or Dolby Digital to make sure your connections are good, then switch the audio format to Dolby Digital Plus. If this still doesn't fix the audio problem, please upgrade the Toslink cable [ feel free to contact us for recommendation ]; basically, all Toslink optical cables can support DD5.1CH/AC3 audio, but only the premium quality ones can support Dolby Digital Plus.
