The Reecom R-200 is a new compact NOAA weather alert radio, equipped with Reecom proprietary technology - fast tracking and decoding S.A.M.E. alert signals reliably. In case of power outage usually happening during emergency, the radio will run on 4 'AA' size alkaline back-up batteries (not included), lasting for 280 Hours for single channel / station monitoring or 120 Hours for 7 channels / stations monitoring in standby mode. Not only can the radio monitor local NOAA station for alerts, but also be able to simultaneously monitor other receivable NOAA channels / stations in standby mode - a unique advanced feature. The radio includes variety features: 1). Easy programming, lets you to set your local NOAA channel/station monitoring for home use or multi-channel/station monitoring for outdoors, Voice EOM (End Of Message) or Voice Timer Alert Mode and Defeat Siren options. 2). Receiving emergency events, including Tornado Warnings, Amber Alerts, terrorist attacks. 3). Back light (continuous back light on/off selectable) LCD display with wide view angle. 4). Display Effective Time, auto count down - up to 51 active events. 5). Display the number of active events. 6). Flashing LED light for Warning, Watch or Advisory. 7). 26 County memories and 51 Event memories with Date / Time history. 8). 40 digital volume level controls for siren tone and voice respectively.
