Dramatic and slightly haunting, this exquisite wooden floor clock is far more than a timepiece. It bears a distinctive Aged Auburn finish on select hardwoods and veneers, contributing to its old-world appeal and antique look. The material is lightly distressed with dents, then wire brushed to evoke a natural appearance of reclaimed wood. The clock features a plinth base. Aged Detailing: Contributing to the old-world style is an aged dial bearing worn black Arabic numerals and minute track, plus charcoal-finished hands. The decorative weight shells and pendulum bob, suspended from an iron-finished metal stick, are finished in blackened steel. The faux front door includes an iron-finished gun barrel latch and glass panels with wood mullion framing. Peer through and youâll see a mirrored black panel. Both the case and dial light up, featuring an easy-reach roller switch at the back. Quartz Movement: Quartz, triple-chime Harmonic movement plays either full Westminster or Ave Maria chimes with strike on the hour with 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes; Westminster chime and strike on the hour only; or Bim Bam chime on the hour only. Requires four C batteries.
