Stay Put Rug Grips are the perfect solution to stop your rugs from moving for good! Each kit comes with four grippers for each corner of your rug (up to 3’X5’). If your rug is larger than 3’X5’ it is recommended to purchases two sets and place them in between the edges of the rug, per diagram on instruction sheet. It is essential that the back of the rug and the floor or carpet that you are using are extremely clean. *IF THIS STEP IS NOT FOLLOWED, IT WILL REDUCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PRODUCT. This will help to bond the product to the back of the rug. Stay Put Rug Grips are easy to apply, and will become permanent on the back of any rug. The reverse side of Stay Put Rug Grips are a patented technology and won’t damage any flooring material. They are waterproof allowing you to wash most rugs and the rug grips will remain tacky once dried completely. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1. Floor and rug backing must be clean and dry. 2. Position the rug where you would like to place it. 3. Peel the liner off the tab and place on the corner of the rug. 4. Press the rug firmly to floor or carpet. * * When placing rug over existing carpet, the carpet must be in “like new” condition. This is referring to the surface fibers being free of any accumulated contaminants; IE floor cleaning residues from carpet and hard surfaces in the home. A simple test, take a clean white terry cloth and gently rub carpet surface where grips will be making contact. When turning the cloth over, if there is any discoloration, this indicates the presence of some type of residue on the carpet fibers. There are other circumstances, ie wool and staple carpet fiber that can reduce the effectiveness of the Stay Put Rug Grips. THIS PRODUCT IS 100% RUBBER FREE. Any product containing rubber can damage existing flooring over time.
