Once your telescope is connected, attach the battery securely to one of the tripod legs with the included Velcro straps so it is safely out of the way. When your eyes are dark adapted, use the red LED flashlight to navigate your observing site without sacrificing your night vision. PowerTank Lithium Pro’s unique Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery chemistry has significant advantages over other battery chemistries. It’s also better for the environment, free of toxic heavy metals like cobalt and lead.
