Your product can sit in inventory, on a dock or on the shelf for months. Keep moisture-sensitive products safe from the dangers of humidity damage, such as over drying, degradation, flaking, clumping and mold. Prevent fluctuating humidity levels from changing the look, aroma and taste of foods, medicines and health and beauty products. Or destroying archival materials, like photos and negatives. Simply insert a Size 8 Boveda in with up to 1 oz of product, then factory seal or manually close the package. Boveda’s precise humidity control automatically restores and maintains humidity in any type of airtight container. This patented formula uses all-natural salts and water in a leakproof vapor phase osmosis membrane to ensure a precise 49% Relative Humidity (RH). Boveda is also available in five other sizes and eight RH (RH: 32%, 58%, 62%, 65%, 69%, 72%, 75% and 84%). Lasts 6-9 months in an airtight package and 2-4 months in a container that’s frequently opened and closed. A simple touch test will let you know when it’s time to replace Boveda—it will feel crunchy and rigid. Note: Do not mix different Boveda RH levels within the same container. And do not use Boveda in the same container with other humidification products because they will fight against each other and reduce the efficiency of Boveda.
