About Garlock 36906-5864 Blue Aramid Fiber With Nitrile
In line Strainer gaskets are an effective and inexpensive way to protect valuable downstream equipment, such as metering devices, from dangerous debris in the pipeline. The Stainless steel mesh acts as a Filter to separate weld beads/slag, pipe scale, Grit and other foreign materials from the process fluids. This product is made using the blue-Gard 3000 (aramid fiber and nitrile rubber) gasket with a 304 Stainless steel plain weave 60 mesh screen. The gasket dimensions are 3.50 inch ID x 5.38 inch OD, the overall thickness is approximately 1/8 inch and there is a tab at the OD of the gasket as a reminder that this is Strainer gasket. This gasket is designed to fit in standard 3 inch ANSI 150# raised face flanges. Please see attached brochure for disclaimer and product details.
