Composed of strong and sturdy lead free DZR brass with a reinforced stainless-steel collar, these plumbing fittings are a great way to provide maintenance-free, continuous protection against water hammer and make easy connections between PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and SDR-9 HDPE pipes in any combination! SharkBite Max quick connector fittings are a project time and effort saver with less insertion force required for a stronger connection. Without the need for additional tools, glue, or soldering, these shock arrestors can be installed in wet lines and are approved for underground and behind-the-wall applications with no access panels (Wrapping required when burying underground). Additionally, this SharkBite Max fitting can be installed either vertically or horizontally and can be rotated after installation. Rated to 180 degrees F and 200 PSI.
