About Ahlstrom 4002-9250 Polyshield Fluid Barrier Filter
Polyshield features a smooth, firm surface that does not inhibit upright stability of bottles or tubes, and allows for easy recovery of dry spills. Disposal is safe because polyshield ashes readily upon incineration. It my also be perforated to create porosity for diffusive gas flow for specialized analytical applications. The 1 mil polyethylene coating on one side of polyshield makes it ideal as a weighing paper to transfer substances to electronic balances. The opposite side of the media is uncoated and can be marked by ink or pencil. Protects against infectious diseases if saturated with disinfectant (for clinical laboratories).
