Powder can be mixed with anything from clear paint, to wax, plastic, clear nail polish, gel, plastics, glaze, etc.

For use in paint, best results are obtained by mixing as much glow powder as possible in a clear, non-water based paint. This glow paint should them be painted over white which acts as a reflector enhancing the visible glow.

Sunlight, ordinary indoor lighting as well as UV (blacklight) can be used to "charge up" Europium UltraGlow powder. The more UV wavelengths the light contains, the faster it will charge. Sunlight (3,000 - 50,000 lux light level) will charge up the powder the fastest, requiring only 5 minutes of exposure.

Maxiumum Brightness. This is a slightly large particle size glow powder. Of all our UltraGlow® glow-in-the-dark powders, this is the brightest. The larger particle size of the material allows for more efficient energy transfer between the molecules which in turn produces a brighter glow. Unlike our other glow powders that have a very fine particle size of 30 microns, our Coarse Green UltraGlow® powder has a larger particle size of 95-120 microns, making it less 'powdery' and more granular. The granulation is not as coarse as table salt, but it is somewhere between table salt and talcum powder. Due to the larger particle size the powder is somewhat heavier and will settle out faster if mixed with a thin, clear paint. If you are mixing it with a thick base like wax or gel, this won't be a problem, but it is something to keep in mind. Because of the slightly larger particle size, it pours much easier than our fine powdered glow colors which may be important if you plan on using it in an automated manufacturing process.
