2 for 1 Solution: exit sign with emergency lights
Back (Wall) Mount
UL924 Listed
The explosion proof exit sign combo features two (2) field-adjustable sealed MR16 lamp heads for lighting an egress pathway. This two-in-one fixture is ideal for hazardous industrial locations where explosive plastic fumes are sometimes present in the working environment. Construction The Class 1 Division 2 exit sign combo is constructed with a 1/8" thick aluminum backplate that will not dent, peel or corrode. The 'EXIT' faceplate is made of polyvinyl chloride, and includes a gasket that prevents liquid or gas ingress to the sign. Tamper resistant screws seal the faceplate to the backplate, creating a seal around the battery, circuits and LED strip inside. This Class 1 Division 2 Exit Sign Combo model has two (2) bottom mount 10-watt MR16 halogen lamps which can be adjusted to illuminate any escape pathway. The lamps are sealed by a gasketed polycarbonate shield. Battery This Class 1 Division 2 exit sign combo model includes a rechargeable Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack. It provides emergency backup power to the exit sign for at least 90 minutes, and only requires 48-hours to fully recharge. Nickel-Cadmium batteries have the highest heat tolerance compared to other emergency batteries. Since UL, OSHA and all city Fire Codes require monthly operational tests, the Self-Diagnostics feature is an obvious time and cost saving solution for maintenance teams. It will constantly monitor the battery, circuits and LEDs as well as perform a 30-second test monthly and a 90-minute power failure test every six months. An LED indicator light will flash red if any fault is detected, alerting maintenance personnel. Features Suitable for Class 1 Div 2 Hazardous Locations, Groups A, B, C and D Includes Self Testing microprocessor. Two (2) 10W MR16 halogen lamps in a protective polycarbonate shield. T3C Temp. Code - up to 320° F.
