So I thought back to our beginning- our roots. We are both avid letter writers, so I used that inspiration, along with the various poems and letters that I've sent her, and created this book. A letter meant for her. This poetry collection is a book filled with memories, love, and hope. It's a book anyone can pick up and enjoy, and even give to their significant other. Yousaf is a poet and writer from New Jersey. He finds himself writing about many topics, but notably mental illness, love, and spirituality. He is the author of three poetry collections- 'Sincerely,' his debut poetry collection, 'Euphoria', and new collection "Prayers of my Youth". He has a Bachelors in History and Secondary Education and is getting his Masters in History. When he is not teaching or writing, he obsesses over making the perfect cup of coffee and takes pictures using his 35mm and 120 film camera.
