These high-quality clamp clips from Xpose Safety are designed to couple two lengths of wire rope of the same diameter as the clamp. The device consists of a U-shaped bolt, a forged saddle and two nuts. Place two layers of wire rope into one U-bolt and clamp into place for a tight connection. PRODUCT FEATURES: 1/4” Wire Rope Clamps Drop Forged Zinc-Galvanized Steel Resistant to Rust and Corrosion Torque: 30 ft/lb Turn Back Length: 9 1/2” MANY APPLICATIONS Residential DIY Professional Commercial Industrial Aviation Marine Military HOW TO APPLY 1) Always apply the saddle of the wire rope clip to the live end (non turnback end) of the wire rope or cable. “Never Saddle a Dead Horse.” Turn back the specified amount of rope from the thimble. Apply the first clip one base width from the dead end of the wire rope. 2) Apply the next clip as near the loop as possible. Turn on the nuts but do not tighten. 3) Space additional clips equally between the first two. Take up rope slack. Tighten all nuts evenly on all clips.
