About Physician's Guide To Surviving CGCAHPS & HCAHPS

Product Description We all went into medicine with a desire to help others. Changes in health care have placed an increased emphasis on patient satisfaction. Unfortunately, patient satisfaction initiatives and surveys often leave providers feeling frustrated and defeated. This book will change that. Improve your patient satisfaction and quality of care with the Physician's Guide to Surviving CGCAHPS & HCAHPS by Trina E. Dorrah, MD, MPH. Health care is changing as patients demand more than just medical knowledge from their doctors. With the introduction of mandatory standardized patient satisfaction surveys, the pressure has never been greater. Unfortunately, most healthcare providers receive little to no training on how to improve patient satisfaction and maximize their CGCAHPS and HCAHPS scores. Dr. Dorrah’s easy-to-read guide fills this void by teaching doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and students the basics of patient satisfaction needed to succeed. With step-by-step instructions, healthcare providers will learn the fundamentals of patient satisfaction, CGCAHPS and HCAHPS survey basics, and overall tips for thriving in the present environment of patient satisfaction surveys. By breaking down this seemingly overwhelming subject into small, logical pieces, readers of the Physician's Guide to Surviving CGCAHPS & HCAHPS can quickly and easily begin improving their patient satisfaction. About the Author Trina E. Dorrah, MD, MPH, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who currently practices at Baylor Scott & White Health in Round Rock, TX.
