This listing is for a 5ml Bottle of Lab Fresh Marquis Reagent (enough reagent for at 30+ tests), a two spot lab quality porcelain test plate and a Color Reference Card of most common color reactions with tech support email for questions. Marquis Reagent is the most popular basic color metric reagent used in the testing of alkaloids. The test is performed by scraping off a small amount of the substance and adding a drop of the reagent (which is initially near colorless). The results are analyzed by viewing the color of the resulting mixture. Store in cool, dry, and dark place (ie refrigerator) to prolong shelf life up to 6 months. Message us with any questions.
