About 1987-2007 KLR650 Tank Shroud Tab & Peg Repair Kit
What you're looking at is a kit to fix the broken tabs and snap in pegs on all 1st Gen Kawasaki KLR650's. Shrouds are getting harder to find in good shape, and when you do they can be expensive. A lot of times the shroud itself is in good shape but the mounting points are broken. If that's what you've got then this is the fix for you! Our snap in peg is threaded in the back and comes with quality stainless steel hardware to attach it to the shroud. Just trim what's left of your old peg flush, drill a hole right in the center of where it was, then attach the new peg. It's that simple. The two L shaped tabs on each shroud are just as simple to replace with our tabs and included stainless steel hardware. This kit incudes 2 short tabs, 2 tall tabs, 2 pegs, and all necessary hardware to install. Shrouds not included. Hardware excluded, all of these parts are designed, tested, and made in house by me.
