About Mister Rogers' Neighborhood: Mister Rogers Talks

Mister Rogers deals with divorce in a gentle and compassionate way. He reassures children that most parents get angry and argue sometimes, but that arguments do not mean that parents are going to get a divorce. In Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday fears his parents are going to get a divorce - and that it is his fault. There's the memorable visit with Jeff Erlanger, a boy who uses an electric wheelchair and the McFeely wedding. The underlying message of these episodes is that some things can be fixed, but other things, like relationships sometimes cannot be. Regular Neighbors include Chuck Aber (Neighbor Aber), Betty Aberlin (Lady Aberlin), Don Brockett (Chef Brockett), Joe Negri (Handyman Negri), David Newell (Mr. McFeely), Audrey Roth (Miss Paulificatte), Elizabeth Seamans (Mrs. McFeely), Maggie Stewart (Mayor Maggie), Bob Trow (Bob Dog/ Robert Troll), Bill Barker (Dr. Bill and Elsie Jean Playtypus), Lenny Meledandri (Prince Tuesday) and Carole Muller Switala (Ana Platypus). The musicians were John Costa, Michael Moricz, Carl McVicker and Robert Rawsthorne.
