About Hand2mind Foam Algebra Tiles Class Set, Algebra

The original geometric models for exploring Algebraic concepts! Our Algebra Tiles demonstrate several math concepts such as adding and subtracting polynomials, factor trinomials, and applying the zero principle. Algebra Tiles are one-dimensional square and rectangle manipulatives that represent different variables of x. Each tile represents the positive and negative of a quantity. Algebra Tiles are ideal for modeling operations with integers and working with polynomials. A set of Algebra Tiles will have small yellow squares to represent constants or units, green rectangles to represent x, and larger blue squares to represent x2. Each piece is red on the other side to represent the additive inverse for the piece. Students can explore adding and subtracting integers, factoring trinomials, multiplying and dividing trinomials, solving equations, simplifying expressions, and completing the square. Introduce your classroom to algebraic concepts with this class pack of hands-on Algebra Tiles. Lead interactive classroom instruction with enough Algebra Tiles for every student! Instead of struggling through a school algebra workbook, use these hands-on manipulatives so students can visually understand algebra problems. Algebra concepts can be tough for students to learn, which is why our Algebra Tiles can make teacher’s lives easier in the classroom. Algebra Tiles can be used an as algebra resource at any age. With algebra being one of the more difficult math subjects, these math tools can help supplement learning in the classroom, with learning at home. These tiles are made of foam. Each of the 30 sets includes 32 foam Algebra Tiles, packaged in a convenient storage bin.
