About Versachem 11509 Type-1 Gasket Sealant - 1.5
Versachem Gasket Sealant #1 is a viscous paste that sets up fast and forms a hard, semi-flexible, leak-proof seal, perfect for sealing and repairing gaskets, flanges, fittings, threaded connections and many other assemblies. Chemical solvent resistance to water, ethyl glycol, gasoline, motor oil, transmission fluid, sea water and steam. For best results, clean mating surfaces with a residue-free cleaning solution and allow surface to dry prior to applying sealant. Features a tensile strength of 5100 PSI, a temperature range of -65°F to +425°F, and dries to a reddish brown color.
