Flood FLD6 Paint Conditioner, 1 Qt Mix-N-Measure Features

  • FLOETROL is a latex paint additive that makes interior and exterior latex or acrylic paint flow and level like oil-based paints while compensating for the adverse effects that weather and surface conditions have on paints and primers.

  • Paint Paddle for stirring and mixing. Inexpensive and disposable. Height: 9.38 in; Length: 14 in; Material: Wood; Width:1/16 in.

  • Paint Container, with graduations in both ounce and metric measurements. Solvent resistant and safe for use with all paints, pastes and adhesives. Container bottom is flat for easy mixing.

About Flood FLD6 Paint Conditioner, 1 Qt Mix-N-Measure

When using FLOETROL together with latex or acrylic paint, it improves its flow and surface distribution. FLOETROL helps the paint to distribute more evenly, resulting in a smoother surface without brush or roller marks. Additionally, FLOETROL compensates for the negative effects of weather conditions and surface conditions on paints and primers. Before adding FLOETROL to the paint, make sure the paint is well-mixed. Use a paint paddle to mix the paint thoroughly in the container before adding FLOETROL. The amount of FLOETROL needed to add to the paint depends on the type of paint, environmental conditions, and desired effect. The recommended amount of FLOETROL per gallon of paint is usually indicated on the packaging. Follow the instructions on the package for the best results. When adding FLOETROL to the paint, be sure to mix them thoroughly in the paint container using the paint paddle. Remember to periodically stir the paint and FLOETROL during use to prevent them from settling to the bottom of the container. If the paint appears too thick or difficult to apply, you can add a little more FLOETROL, but not more than what is specified on the packaging. Note that too much FLOETROL can result in a longer drying time. After finishing, clean the paint paddle and container thoroughly. You can discard the paint paddle as it is inexpensive and disposable. The paint container can be reused after a thorough cleaning.
